In the golden age of aviation before World War II (1939-1945), commercial aviation literally "taken off", providing the opportunity for millions to travel farther for both civilian and business markets. come from all around the world. In the Kingdom of Italy, Breda tried the "Ba. 32" to bring a new passenger tractor to the market. The humble airliner uses a straight-wing shape, fixed landing gear and a three-engine arrangement.

Despite the attempts, only two prototypes were produced and the first flight took place sometime in 1931 - the design eventually made history.

The aircraft's three-engine layout was reminiscent of other Italian models of the time and provided the power, performance and range required. One engine is buried in the nose assembly, while the other two are located in the leading edge nacelles of the wing main aircraft. The low-wing main plane is a wide span element, placed forward of the center of the boat for balance, and has a rounded tip. Each is also fitted with a fixed, painted main landing gear leg for ground operation.

The pilots sit side by side behind the engines in the bow, and the cabin (which can carry up to 10 passengers) takes up nearly all the space available in the center stern. The fuselage tapers towards the empennage and is attached with a small surface rudder (the upper part is cut off). The lifts on this plane are low-mounted and have a rounded-straight design (as on the main plane).

A tail wheel is mounted on the tail to support the tail during ground operation.

Structurally, the aircraft has a barrel length of 54.11 feet, a wingspan of 87.5 feet, and a height of 13.7 feet. Curb weight is 8,360 pounds, bringing the total to 14,200 pounds.

The original model was equipped with three Pratt & Whitney 'Wasp Junior' 9-cylinder radial piston engines, each rated at 320 hp. Each of these systems drives the two-bladed propeller blades in a puller fashion, giving the aircraft a top speed of 147 mph, a cruise speed of 131 mph, a range of up to 840 miles, a service ceiling of 17,400 feet, and a flight speed of Climb 310 feet per minute.

In testing, the overall design proved to be quite reliable. However, the brand new attempt also showed little interest, and there were no consecutive orders from customers after that, citing only prototype demonstrations for investment. At least two bars.

Thirty-two aircraft are believed to have been developed - the original and a slightly modified second successor. It's not known if the latter plane is the same original airframe, just modified with a local Fiat engine (as opposed to the American Pratt & Whitney model), or if it's an entirely new attempt.
