History

The Judge, developed by the Brazilian company Taurus, is a powerful revolver. Pistols defined as "combination guns" can be carried at the same time. 410 (2-1/2" shotgun case and .45 Colt ammunition are supplied on demand, fed by a five-round rotating cylinder. The weapon is a very traditional design arrangement designed to Concealed carry for close range self-defense.

Stier claims many judges rely on Taurus judges in court for protection, hence the name of the weapon.

Judge based on an early Taurus Colt. 45 revolvers.

The extended case allows safe removal of spent cases, while the rubber grip absorbs some of the shock experienced when firing an inherently powerful case. When the rear sight is fixed, there is a red fiber dot on the front sight. A drive lever attached to the hammer portion of the bolt prevents it from hitting unless the trigger is pulled all the way back.

The finish of the frame is matte steel, and the frame itself is classified as compact. The overall weight is 0.82 kg and the overall length is 7-1/2 inches. The barrel is 3 inches long. The chamber of the cylinder is specially designed to prevent the use of longer or higher pressure cartridges.

The

Judge pistol is also the basis for the Taurus-Rossi "Circuit Judge", a full stock, grip and front carbine with an extended barrel. The barrel is 18.5 inches long and uses the pistol's original chamber. Picatinny rails above the receiver are optional. Rossi is a partner company of Taurus.
