History of the Dassault Falcon 7X

The Dassault Falcon 7X is a large-cabin business jet with a range of 5,950 nautical miles (11,020 km), manufactured by Dassault Aviation, Dassault Aviation is its second largest aircraft in the Falcon line. Introduced at the 2001 Paris Air Show, the maiden flight took place on May 5, 2005, and it entered service on June 15, 2007.

The 7X-derived Falcon 8X has an increased range of 6,450 nautical miles (11,950 km) thanks to improved aerodynamic engines and increased fuel capacity. It and the Falcon 900 feature an S-pipe mid-engine and are the only two triple-engined in production.

This aircraft has an MMO of Mach 0.90 for faster climbs and descents and short jumps on short legs.

It is powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada 307A engines, each rated at 6,400 pounds of thrust.

With more than 270 built, the 7X is the company's fastest selling business jet.

To date, the Falcon 7X fleet has accumulated more than 500,000 flight hours and operates in more than 40 countries.
